Vocalage announces the launch of its GiveButtons service. Vocalage Inc. President Mark Chignell noted that while the site is now live, it will be continuously improving over the next few months in pursuit of its goal to become the number one online giving community.The GiveButtons service currently makes products from 20 advertisers, chosen for the quality and value of their gifts, available to GiveButtons users in its catalog of over 500 products, with more products being added to the catalogue every day. With products organized by category and occasion, Chignell notes that GiveButtons provides a convenient way to look for unique gifts for special people. Another feature of GiveButtons is a set of curated collections representing the collective wisdom of expert gift givers.

Vocalage Inc., in partnership with the University of Toronto, will showcase the new GiveButtons collaborative gift giving service at OCE Discovery 2011, to be held in Toronto on May 18 and 19. GiveButtons is a first of its kind system that supports a gift giving community, where its members having the power to purchase gifts collaboratively.
